Expensive. Rude. Complete lack of compassion. I took my dog and kitten there for treatment due to the high reviews. My kitten had ringworm. It cost over $200 to treat. My dog was diagnosed with heart disease and put on meds. I hadn't had any major issues at that point. I wasn't happy that the doctor never introduced himself. I only knew his name from Google. The price was high, in my opinion. None of that warranted a review, though. They hadn't done anything exceptional that warranted a review, either. Then, I had to put my 15-year-old baby (dog) down in February. I had had him since he was 8 weeks old. The dark-haired receptionist was rude when I first walked in. I was in tears and holding my dying baby. I knew he had to be put down. It was an emergency situation, as he had gotten extremely sick on a Sunday night. - She was also on the phone while I waited over 10 minutes to pay the almost $450 (price included cremation) bill. I was bawling, and she was extremely rude. - The blonde-haired receptionist was extremely sweet, The vet techs were all extremely sweet, as well, especially the dark/red-headed older lady. She brought my baby back, wrapped in a blanket, and put him on the table while I waited for the doctor. She was so gentle and respectful and offered condolences. Then, while I was losing my world, Dr. Jennings thought it was a good time to laugh and make small talk with the person who gave me a ride. I was a complete mess and bawling. I knew I'd be too upset to drive myself. I was not prepared for the complete lack of compassion. They could have chatted in the hallway if it was so important to mention who he ran into at the gas station. It took everything in me not to snap. I was already not thinking straight, so I kept my composure to keep from cussing them both out. People grieve differently. Regardless, that was a time to be quiet and respectful. Instead, they had a full-fledged conversation while I was experiencing the worst pain. My ride to/from there is no longer my friend, and I am switching vets. My animals are not just pets. They are my family. Some of my last moments with my beloved baby will forever be tainted with the sound of laughter in the background. At least, the doctor told me to take my time when he left the room. Then, I said my proper goodbye. I hope you enjoyed your day, Dr. Jennings, because you and your staff certainly made one of my worst days even worse. Shame on y'all! How you treat people (and, of course, their animals) matters, especially during such a painful time. The condolence card they mailed didn't mean crap after that kind of experience. I waited months to write this review because I had to contemplate and process, but I don't want anyone else to experience such a complete lack of compassion. I definitely would not recommend them to anyone based on my experience. Also, I have no need or desire to discuss anything further with Enterprise Animal Hospital. Just do better!
I’ve waited 6 months to write this. Call it a cooling off period. I used them for 8 years. They used to be better, before they expanded the clinic. When my GSD hurt himself and desperately needed care, I called and was told “we’re too busy”, so I went up there with my baby and was told in person “we’re too busy to see you”. They abandoned us when we needed them most. I feel completely betrayed by them. I would never recommend them. If you’re a customer, I recommend you find anyone else in Enterprise. If they failed my furkid WHEN WE ABSOLUTELY NEEDED THEM, they can fail you too. Disgusting and reprehensible. I cannot use words strong enough to tell you to never trust them to be your Vet.
