We have two very energetic German Shorthaired Pointers that are A LOT to handle. We have been using Dr. Anderson for the last several years. Our dogs LOVE Rehm. They go right to the ladies at the front desk every time for treats and kisses. The staff even make a special trip out to the car to say hello to our other dogs. Appts are timely, office is organized, and people are so kind.

We took our senior cat there two weeks ago for a limp and had just that day discovered a small lump on her neck. We were offered X-ray and biopsy for around $750 or so to check her front leg and biopsy the lump. The lump was new and was only found because we were checking on her leg she was limping on. We opted to do the x-ray first to check the condition of her leg. When they brought her back they said the x-ray was good nothing broken and they drew fluid from the lump and it didn’t appear to be cancerous. So we went home with some meds to help her relax and stay off her leg to ease any inflammation. We took meds and she quit limping and appeared to feel better. Until this Sunday.. she didn’t greet us like normal to remind us she was hungry like she has done for the last 11years. We finally found her and had to make her get up but she didn’t care anything about eating. Today is Tuesday so two days later because she quit eating and going potty we went back to the vet. Today we were told she has fluid throughout her body that is making it a struggle to breathe and likely cancer because the lump has now abscessed. She has rapidly gone down hill and we were told they couldn’t do anything else. We would have to take her to Medvet after 5:00 for an emergency visit. She would likely need breathing therapy and fluids. The last person they referred there with their baby spent $3500 and still lost their baby. So my problem is we had a limp on one leg two weeks ago and now we are actively watching our baby girl pass. So I guess my dad was right when he said taking your animals to the vet will kill them. Because I would never have believed we would be here today. If you don’t want to lose your little lovey don’t use Rehm in Saraland.
