This place is more suited for farm animals that you need to be healthy enough to eat later. This place is not well suited for people who care about their pets as if they were part of their family. I forget the receptionist name it starts with an R but she is rude. The first impression I got of this place was when I called in and she refused to get my name or number or any of my information to start entering it in while I was on my way over to the appointment. The entire process felt very transactional to me. The vet came in the room and acted like he was scared of my dog. When he gave my dog a pill, he did not tell me what was going on beforehand. He just took the pill out of the bottle and shoved it deep in my dog’s throat for no reason with no prompting. 😐🤣 I mean. Like. That’s an option. BUT. Super unnecessary. It’s not like my dog was assaulted but damn. My good old boy looked over at me like “what the heck was that about???”. 😶‍🌫️ We normally go to the northside animal hospital and I only came here because my dog had hurt his paw. My dog is always excited to go to the vet at Northside animal hospital because of how genuinely feet they are and they are always complementing him and giving him lots of tasty treats as they go along. The northside animal Hospital is a completely different vibe. The Selma animal hospital does not give out any treats and they didn’t seem very comforting. The were not understanding of the fact that my dog was just hurt and so I was a bit frazzled. Anyway, I think it would be just fine if you were taking your cow there to get their vaccines and you just don’t actually really care about the animal that much but I would not recommend taking your animal there if you genuinely care about them. Northside animal hospital is a much better option. ❤️ I paid like $100 to get one bottle of antibiotics for my dog to prevent infection. He didn’t really do anything else, but that’s just to give you an idea of what you might pay if you have something similar going on.

Dr. Lawrence is the Greatest vet I have met. The first time meeting him was on a SUNDAY, he had plumbing issues at home, he took care of our dog and had to turn around and meet us at the hospital again because our dog started having another seizure on our way. He gave us meds,and saved our pup TWICE in one day!!!! Very compassionate animal caregiver!!!
