Hope Animal Clinic

First off, let me just say that what I’m about to describe is horrific. My mom and I have always taken our dogs here to get checked out. Over the years this company has lost some excellent vets. We have three dogs currently. One of our dogs is an Aussiedoodle. We will name her (W) to keep it confidential. We took (W) to get her required shots and she was down for a full groom yesterday. As my mother picked up (W) from her grooming appt yesterday she noticed that (W) wasn’t acting like her normal self. Her normal self is really excited, spunky, and all around fun. (W) did seem not herself when she got home too. She seemed kind of moping and sad. My mom called Hope Animal Clinic and spoke to someone and described to them how (W) had been acting. That person who took the phone call advised that it could be sickness from the shots she was given. My mom respectfully disagreed with said person bc (W) has previously had these shots. This was not the first time she was receiving them. Today as my mom and I both got home, our entire downstairs living area smelled like feces. My mom saw (W) in her crate, it and her covered in dog feces. Feces on the laundry room door, the floor beside her crate, on her legs and feet, on the wall, etc. it was literally explosive diarrhea. When (W) was let out of the crate, I noticed her anal are was bleeding bright red. My mom and I have NEVER requested for any of our animals to have their anal glands expressed. SOMETHING happened there at Hope Animal Clinic yesterday 08.11.26, and we are going to find out what happened to our precious baby girl. The poor dog is absolutely traumatized. Mark my words Hope AC, we are seeking an attorney for negligence of our personal property aka (W).

I love how they treat my dog and they follow my instructions on my dog. Everyone is still sweet and helpful

I was waiting in the lobby to pick up my dog when a man walked in with his dog. The complaint was that his dog had gotten into the garbage and was now having a hard time with breathing and balance. The blonde, older lady at the front desk said that since it was after 5 (it was 5:01) that he needed to take his dog to the emergency vet...all this said with a smirk on her face. He was more than likely there before 5 and possibly, with the way his dog was, had a hard time getting in the door. This shows me that there is no compassion or care for these animals. Has made me now think twice about coming back. What if this man's dog died in the parking lot while trying to get it back in his car? Or on the way to the emergency vet? I understand wanting to go home at the end of the day, but when the dog is in your facility, you have laid eyes on it and can see there is very clearly a medical emergency?! My mind is just blown and I am very disappointed. I tried to call and voice my concern, but after being on hold for 7 minutes, I hung up. I just don't believe this is a place of people who care about the animals.
